Chrissy and Jonathan

Beautiful Bride, Handsome Man, Smiles, Excitement, Promises, and Love shared between family and friends!
Weddings are magical and watching them through my view finder is extraordinary.
Chrissy and Jonathan were breathtaking!  They had an amazing service on the lake led by Jonathan's father who shared priceless advice for the new marriage.  Their friends and family were fun and kind!

Thank you Chrissy and Jonathan for allowing us to capture the start to your long, happy marriage!
Thank you Emily for all your help!

55th Wedding Anniversary

"Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other,
but in looking outward together in the same direction."
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

All Bill and Helen wanted for their 55th Wedding Anniversary was to have their family together, so they did.  Erica and I were so excited to have the opportunity to capture the family pictures (Thanks Brett!).  They have a beautiful family inside and out.  We didn’t want to leave especially when Bill started sharing about how he and Helen met.  They met at a fair 61 years ago.  That night they rode on the tunnel of love.  He didn’t say, but I am pretty sure for him it was love at first site!  Helen said it took some convincing since he was younger, but in an email to me she said:
“Bill is a very special guy.  He is my best friend, lover, and companion.  He has been a loving, encouraging father, with compassion and understanding.
When I returned from Laughton, NV with a friend last summer, Bill met me at the airport with flowers.  How could I not love the guy.!!! “

Bill also took care of her through a tough time in her life when she battled cancer.  My prayer is for everyone to have a marriage like theirs!

Her advice for a long happy marriage is”
“1) Plan to always give 75%, in any disagreement.
2) Keep communication open.
3) Beware of saying anything you might regret
4) Voice tone and volume makes a big difference in the delivery of your opinion.”

Bill and Helen,
You are an amazing role model to all of us and we are honored to have met you!

The Family,
Thanks for being so much fun and allowing us to be a part of your family weekend!
